Little Miss Inventor – Book Trailer – This clip is from one of around a dozen short animation adverts I wrote, directed, provided sound for, and edited where necessary (mainly end and intro cards), while directing an animator.

Adam Hargreaves – Author Interview – Clip from a longer piece with the writer and illustrator of the Mr Men and Little Miss series. I directed, shot camera, and edited the piece. One of several made with the author, who doesn’t normally give interviews.

Laura Ellen Anderson – Author Interview – Clip from a longer piece with the writer and illustrator of the Amelia Fang children’s book series. I directed, shot camera, and edited. One of several made with the author, which included readings, an illustration class, and more. These two author interviews represent over a dozen with some leading UK and US authors, made for Egmont Publishing (Now Farshore Publishing). Animated adverts also made for Egmont.

OOglies – CBBC series – ‘When the humans are away the OOglies play! The household pranksters sprout eyes and embark on a series of adventures that will find them slip, sliding and splatting onto television screens.’ – This clip is one of many dozens of sketches I wrote for the CBBC series OOglies, which went on to win a BAFTA. I was asked to lead the writersroom for the show, where myself and a group of writers would pitch and concept sketch ideas and then work on them individually to pass to the animation team at Kolik Studios.

Love & Pies – Mobile Game – This short intro to a special event illustrates some of the work I do as a narrative Lead and Screenwriter for video games. I create all characters and work with art to bring them to life, write scripts (including action scenes like the one in this clip) and dialogue on Final Draft, and am responsible for working with other writers, animators, artists producers and designers.

I Am Anna – Feature Film – ‘After attending a party Anna comes home with her boyfriend. Nothing much happened that night yet as they get ready for bed suddenly everything seems different.’ – Directed and edited by Timo Langer, Co-written by Timo Langer and Laura Anderson, Cinematography by Sergiu Timar. I perform in this film, and as part of that was asked to help shape the short script into a long document. I edited the script, added scenes, improvised and workshopped new dialogue to ultimately bring to the film. I was on set for almost the entire production and formed amazing bonds with the crew.

We All Fall Down – Short film – ‘When two hikers find an injured man in a remote forest, their well-meaning attempts to help him could put them all in terrible danger.’ – Directed by Laura Anderson, co-written by Laura Anderson and William Beaumont, Produced by William Beaumont, Cinematography by Sergiu Timar, Edited by Timo Langer. This clip is from a short film which was made on a shoestring budget, I co-wrote the piece then guided the vision on screen as director. I loved working with members of this crew team so much on I Am Anna that I wanted to make something else with them later, and this was the result.

Meet the Makers – Artist Interviews – These clips represent around 20 different interviews with some of Scotland’s leading craft makers. I did all on-set craft, including camera and directing, as well as editing. They were intended to help showcase the art, practice and uniquely ‘Scottish’ flavour that their work has, as it was taken to exhibit in multiple exhibitions in the USA. Some of the makers were very shy, so it was usually a challenge but always rewarding.
